Alias is a team word game where one player explains a word without saying it directly, while teammates try to guess it before the timer ends.
You can enter a game ID on the home page or open a direct join link shared by the host. After that, enter your name and continue to team setup.
Teams take turns one after another. A round means a full cycle where each team plays once. The host can choose the number of rounds before the game starts.
Each correctly guessed word earns the team one point. A skipped word or a broken rule costs a point (or simply doesn't count, depending on your house rules). The team with the most points after the final round wins.
You may not say the target word itself, parts of it, or words from the same root, translate it into another language, or spell it out with gestures. You can describe its meaning and give synonyms, examples, and associations.
Yes. When creating a game the host can pick a ready-made word set or enter a custom list — handy for themed parties, language learning, or team-building events.
The interface is available in Ukrainian, English, and Polish — you can switch the language at the top of the page at any time. Word sets can also be matched to the language you want.
Just a device with a browser — computer, tablet, or phone. Nothing to install. The host creates a game and shares a link or ID, and everyone else joins from their own devices.
